Proses Fermentasi Nira Aren Menjadi Bioetanol: Pendampingan Kepada Masyarakat Desa Lonuo Kabupaten Bone Bolango

Abstrak

Assistance in the fermentation process of palm sap into bioethanol to the people of Lonuo Village, Bone Bolango Regency, aims to increase the community's understanding and skills in processing potential local resources into economically valuable products. This activity includes an introduction to fermentation theory, the practice of processing palm sap into bioethanol, as well as the use of simple technology to support the production process. Assistance is carried out in a participatory manner, actively involving the community at every stage, so that they are able to build their independence in producing bioethanol as an environmentally friendly alternative energy. This activity was carried out at the Bioethanol Center located in Lonuo Village. Participants who took part in this activity were sugar palm farmers in Lonuo Village. The results of the activity show that the community can understand and practice the fermentation process well, producing quality bioethanol according to standards. Apart from that, this activity succeeded in raising awareness of the importance of energy diversification and empowering local potential to improve economic prosperity. It is hoped that this assistance can become a model for community empowerment based on appropriate technology that can be replicated in other villages, thereby supporting efforts to develop sustainable renewable energy at the local level.
