Abstract

Increasing the capacity of human resources regarding disaster mitigation aims to realize Biluhu Timur village as a Disaster Resilient Village. Efforts made to achieve increased community capacity include: (1) Door to door socialization to increase public knowledge regarding disaster understanding. (2) Installation of disaster evacuation routes in each hamlet, to facilitate evacuation when a disaster occurs. The results achieved from the socialization can be seen by analyzing the level of community understanding related to mitigation so that it can be used as a reference for village progress in the field of disaster. Human resource capacity building program movement on disaster mitigation in Biluhu Timur Village can provide a stimulus to local governments and communities about the importance of disaster anticipation.
