Abstrak

Living Kitchen as an effort to utilize the home yard can be one of the providers of healthy nutrition for the family. The main objective of the MBKM Village Project is to be able to cultivate the vacant land in Ulantha Village to become a living kitchen. This program was carried out by a team of students from the Physics Education Study Program, State University of Gorontalo who were conducting the Village Project MBKM in ULANTA village with 25 members. This program was carried out for approximately 3 months. This research uses descriptive research type. The result of the Living Kitchen Program is the planting of Living Kitchen plants in the form of water spinach, cucumber, chili (Rica) and watermelon on unused vacant land around the Ulantha Village Office. With the cultivation process as in general includes sowing seeds, planting plants that have been sown, the planting medium is in beds. A living kitchen is very useful for the community, its function for a living kitchen can increase income or human resources, especially in Ulantha Village, namely by socializing the importance of a living kitchen and also planting vegetables in the village yard.
